[Introduction]
Have you ever been wondering about beautiful shining stars in the dark sky? Well for a fact stars are not only small or big They can be all sorts of sizes. Also stars are a hot gases thing that you won't handle. Now I will tell you all types of stars.

Type of stars
Most stars including the Sun,are main sequence stars fueled by nuclear fusion  converting hydrogen into helium. For these stars, the hotter they are the brighter they are. There are also lots of  different kinds of stars they are, Black hole, Double Star, yellow Dwarfs, White Dwarfs and Heavy Stars. Would you see these different other stars in the sky?A double star is two stars together. Stars vary in size and they can range in size from 450 times smaller to over 1500 times larger than the size of the sun. Also the sun is a yellow g2 Dwarf star.

Appearance
Some stars are small some are big. Every star you see every night is bigger and brighter than the Sun. Also stars range in colour depending on how hot they are. Stars are like a ball of fire made out of gas and heat. Some stars are tiny because they are a huge distances away from earth. A big red star is formed after all the other phases of stars. It also looks like a guzzy star in a “pot handle.”

life cycle
Stars are born in nebulae, Huge clouds of dust and gas collapse under gravitational forces, forming protostars. These young stars undergo further collapse, forming main sequence stars. Once the star is born, there is a constant battle with gravity. The force of gravity inside is so intense that nothing can escape it, not even light. Some stars shine unevenly, and are known to be a variable star.

General information
The light from stars takes millions of years for it to reach earth. Sometimes there could be lots of stars in the sky but mostly there is 3,000 stars in the night sky. They are easily recognised as a part of star groupings called constellation. Stars are usually between 1 and 10 billion years old. Stars can live for billions of years!!!.

[Conclusion]
Now that you have learnt something new Feel free to tell other people about shining stars. If you want to learn more information go to this website: (http://www.enchantedlearning.com/subjects/astronomy/stars/index.shtml) to learn more.
